Our
story
Most charities start with funding. Heal started with conviction.
No grants. No backing. No financial history. Just a founder who had spent years watching families struggle to access the health support they desperately needed, and decided that waiting for someone else to fix it was no longer an option.

Since launching in December 2023, we have brought nearly 1,800 people through our doors. Nine events. Expert speakers from across New Zealand. Subsidised fitness classes, free wellness sessions, and wellbeing resources gifted into local schools. Built from scratch, on a shoestring, by a community that showed up.
But here is the truth: the need is bigger than our current capacity.

Our own community surveys tell us that families are overwhelmed, young people are struggling quietly, and too many people still do not know where to turn. The health system is under enormous pressure. The gaps are real. And the people falling through them are not weak. They are just under-supported.

That is exactly what Heal exists to change.
Your donation does not go to overheads or administration. It goes directly into the programmes, events and resources that get into the hands of the people who need them most.
We are serious about this. We hope you will back us.

Heal x
Vision
A future where health and wellbeing are within reach for everyone - not just the few.

Our purpose
We believe prevention is more powerful than crisis. Heal exists to close the gap between where people are and where they could be, through education, connection and community-led support that reaches everyone, not just those who can afford it.

How can you help ?
There are many ways to support what we are building. Come to an event. Share our story with someone who needs it. Or if you have a skill, service or product that could benefit our community, we would love to hear from you.
And if you are in a position to donate, every single dollar goes directly into the programmes and people that need it most.
Mission
Heal exists because too many people are struggling quietly, and the system cannot catch all of them. We show up for our community with practical support, real conversations and programmes that meet people where they are — because everyone deserves access to health and wellbeing, regardless of their background or budget.
